Why Donate To Mt. Scott?

  • Mt. Scott Learning Center (MSLC) provides a nurturing, educational community for students whose needs have not been met by traditional learning environments. The MSLC setting is designed to allow students to obtain a meaningful education, establish short-term and long-term life goals, and develop the academic and social tools required to live a healthy and productive life.

MSLC receives 80 percent of the funding the local school district receives to spend on each student each year. This means MSLC must raise between $1,500 - $2,000 per student to ensure our students have access to all of the academic support, case management, and tutoring they need. This funding comes from individual donors and businesses – supportive and caring community members like you – who believe that EVERY STUDENT COUNTS.
