Social Studies Teacher
Casy grew up in a small Pacific Northwest town. After years of romping on the family farm, Casy attended Portland State University for his Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Letters. He enjoyed taking courses and spending time within the Black Studies department and the Linguistics department.
Casy worked as a tutor for English Language Learners at various Portland institutions before seeking his Master of Arts in Teaching at Pacific University. He has taught both Social Studies and Language Arts around the Portland Metro area. Casy’s curriculum is social justice focused and aims to prepare all students to be proactive and productive members of their communities.
In Casy’s spare time, he enjoys cycling, writing, learning new languages, and pumping out righteous jams with band mates.
